Objective: To explore the clinical effect of ropivacaine, vitamin B12 combined with compound betamethasone on patients with prosopalgia. Methods: Select 80 patients with prosopalgia from January 2014 to December 2014 as research subjects. And the research subjects were random divided into experimental group and control group. The experimental group received compound betamethasone, vitamin B12 combined with ropivacaine, while the control group received ropivacaine only. The clinical effect was compared between the two groups 3,6 and 9 months after the treatment. Results: The total effective rate of experimental group was observably higher than the control group 3,6 and 9 months after the treatment (P=0.045,0.032,0.008). There were 4 patients whose mucous membrane was broken in experimental group during the treatment. And there were 3 patients whose underlips were insensitive in experimental group after the treatment. Conclusion: The clinical effect of ropivacaine, vitamin B12 combined with compound betamethasone on patients with prosopalgia was observably better than ropivacaine alone.
